It has some open area's but they are an awkward shape and may restrict building. Not so sure about N0:E0 for the Class F planet. N14:E105 is the best location I've found for the Moonbase start, and I was able to fit a 350 colonist base in that area easily. N5:E38 is definately the best location I've found for the first desert planet base, as it has a large open area easily big enough for a large colony base. With Train Fever, Banished and most other games that have a map block encryption algorithm built into a location reference you get whole threads dedicated to swapping good location codes.Īt the moment I'm going with the suggestion of N0:E0 which is a bad location though its divided into three long narrow valleys which makes building a symetrical base awkward. I'm not sure if thats because players don't realise the significance of the co-ordinates they chose on the viability of their base, or a simple reluctance to help other players out. ![]() In fact, there is a general lack of threads exchanging good starting locations for this game. Interesting! I've noticed an almost complete lack of decent starting locations for the Class F planet.
